The T.R Ellett Agricultural Research Trust supports projects, people, and partnerships that contribute to practical, science-based improvements in agriculture.
We focus on initiatives that advance pasture management, grassland science, and the capability of the agricultural research community.
Funding is available for projects under $10,000 and over $10,000 across three streams: Research Projects, Scholarships, and Partnerships.

Funding under 10k
Do you have a project that aligns with our mission? If your funding request is under $10,000, such as for travel, publication costs, or capability building, then you are welcome to proceed without prior consultation.

Funding over 10k
For larger projects or strategic partnerships exceeding $10,000, we ask that you first contact the TR Ellett Trust General Manager, Angela Halliday, via email.
This initial step helps ensure your proposal aligns with our mission and funding priorities and enables us to provide guidance before you begin the application process.
