Engage Programme

The Ellett Agricultural Research Trust is proud to support the Engage Programme, developed in partnership with Rural Leaders.

Our Trust recognises the importance of building capability in the sector, particularly by equipping researchers with the skills to better communicate their work. We believe that strengthening these skills ensures research can have greater impact and wider reach across New Zealand’s food and fibre sector.

Through our support of the Engage Pilot Programme, we have helped create a bespoke workshop designed to lift participants’ ability to present, influence, and connect with audiences. The pilot brought together researchers from AgResearch, B+LNZ, and DairyNZ, who worked with expert facilitators to refine their communication skills.

The Ellett Agricultural Research Trust values this collaborative approach. By helping researchers become more effective communicators, we ensure that knowledge and insights can be more easily shared and applied, benefiting the sector as a whole.
